Alisa Gonzalez earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work, both from Florida Atlantic University, and brings 6 years of broad human services experience to her role as Primary Therapist. Her background spans work with teenagers, school social work, victim advocacy, and domestic violence education and prevention — a foundation that speaks to the depth of compassion she brings to every population she serves.
Drawn to this field through her own personal experiences, Alisa is a firm believer that every person deserves a space filled with kindness, empathy, and the freedom to be fully themselves. She specializes in anxiety, trauma, family systems, mood disorders, and personality disorders, weaving together CBT, DBT, IFS, person-centered, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing approaches to meet each client exactly where they are.
At the core of her work is a curiosity-driven, empowering style — one that celebrates every step toward growth, vulnerability, and self-compassion, no matter how small.
When she’s not at work, Alisa enjoys reading, listening to music, visiting museums, spending time in nature, and hanging out with her cats.
