Jason Myerson is a Case Manager and Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) with more than four and a half years of experience working in the behavioral health field. He earned his Associate’s Degree from St. Petersburg College and has dedicated his career to supporting individuals on their journey toward lasting recovery.
As someone who actively practices a program of recovery himself, Jason was drawn to the field through a genuine desire to give back and help others the same way he was once helped. His personal experience allows him to connect with clients in a meaningful and authentic way while providing encouragement, guidance, and support throughout the treatment process.
Jason finds the most rewarding part of his work to be witnessing the moment when “the light comes on” for clients and they begin to embrace the gift of sobriety and a new way of life. He is passionate about sharing his experience with the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, including the principles of the 12 Steps and the importance of maintaining spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical discipline through a mind, body, and spirit approach to recovery.
Outside of his professional role, Jason enjoys fitness and working out, surfing, fishing, attending concerts, and spending time enjoying good music.
