Tabitha Thein, LCSW, QS

Assistant Clinical Director

Tabitha Thein earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wyoming and her Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, and has spent 10 years building a career rooted in a simple but powerful question she asked herself in college: at the end of my life, what will I regret not having done? The answer was helping others — and she hasn’t looked back since.

In her role as Assistant Clinical Director, Tabitha specializes in trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA), utilizing Accelerated Resolution Therapy as her primary modality. Her approach is collaborative by nature — less “here’s what you need to do” and more “let’s figure this out together” — driven by a genuine curiosity about each person she works with. She believes growth is a lifelong pursuit, for her clients and for herself, and finds that the field keeps her both humble and hungry to keep learning.

Tabitha describes the trust clients place in their therapists as the greatest honor of her career — and that reverence for the therapeutic relationship is felt in everything she does.

Outside of work, she’s equally hard to pin down: you might find her quilting, building something, hiking, cooking, attending the ballet, losing herself in a book, or simply playing with her dogs.
